PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies, defines, analyzes, and generates complex specifications for test conduction, coordination of systems and analyses, proposal submittal, and performance of applied research and development
Develops, documents, and implements solutions to complex technical problems associated with the analysis, design, development, operation, and/or modification of engineering products and services
Researches, analyzes, and conducts equipment (hardware/software) design and development, system analyses, process studies, and research investigations for complex technical problems
Establishes, develops, and maintains an effective working interface and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
Researches, prepares, and delivers complex technical presentations to high level management and/or the customer.
Defines, designs, and develops system requirements
Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations
Defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system
Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies
Conducts independent technical investigations of system design
Coordinates and consolidates design efforts on major projects
Provides functional and technical guidance to less experienced engineers in all aspects of engineering projects
Organizes and leads assigned sections of major program reviews, design reviews, and proposals
Requirements:
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) Pipelines (identification, evaluation, integration, testing)
Experience researching, identifying, and transitioning innovative technologies
Familiarity with System Requirements and Key Performance Points Analysis
Experience providing transition support for innovative systems and technology
Experience in Root Cause Analysis or Corrective Analysis
