Commercial roofing service manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead and oversee our service department.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of our service business, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards and exceptional customer satisfaction.
You will manage a team of service technicians, prioritize work orders, manage budgets, and cultivate strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability within the service department.
* Lead and manage a team of service technicians, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and providing constructive feedback.
* Oversee all aspects of service projects, from initial assessments and estimates to project completion and customer satisfaction surveys.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to industry standards and safety regulations.
* Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts for the service department.
* Identify and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely response and resolution of customer issues.
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
* Manage inventory and negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Conduct routine inspections and identify potential problems before they occur.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and safety regulations.
* Prepare and present reports on service department performance to senior management.
Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing service management.
* Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams.
* Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* OSHA safety certification preferred.
