Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will manage a computer and network enclave and ensure the integration of IT programs and services; developing solutions to integration/interoperability issues; designing, developing, trouble shooting, and managing IT security systems at our JEB Little Creek, VA and Norfolk Naval Base location.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with other networks.
 Collaborating with network architects to build and maintain servers and optimize network performance.
 Generating and running simulation models for future applications and evaluating and verifying impacts on the current and planned enclave IT architecture.
 Developing and presenting plans for integrating new server technology into existing enclave architecture.
 Maintain processes and procedures, while adhering to established policies.
 Monitor new complex systems.
 Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements.
 System administration functions on both Windows Enterprise Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux Server operation system platforms.
 Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with other networks.
 Planning and coordinating the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of enclave management software and related enclave-level  changes to the systems infrastructure.
 Spotting inefficiencies in an organization’s computer network and making recommendations to address weaknesses.
 Performing routine network audits.
 Troubleshooting issues with the enclaves network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network segments.
 Ensure compliance with applicable mandates and policies.
 Apply DoD and OEM Cybersecurity Best Practices and conduct post configuration System functionality analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT and 4+ years of experience; Additional experience may substitute for degree Active Secret clearance - preferred with SSBI.
 Certified Network and Server Administrator Certification; Linux Certification;  Windows10 Certification; Server 2016 Certification  Knowledge of Microsoft System Administration and/or Linux Administration  Candidate must possess an active DOD Secret level security clearance upon hire.
 Knowledge of unmanned systems networks.
Preferred Qualifications:  IAT Level III Certification (e.
g.
CISSP or equivalent) For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
S.
-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
