Job Description:
As a Residential New Homes Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of residential new home projects from start to finish.
You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1.
Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.
2.
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction process, including site preparation, foundation work, framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing.
3.
Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
4.
Procure materials and hire subcontractors as needed.
5.
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
6.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality.
7.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
8.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
9.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
10.
Ensure that all work is completed safely and in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 6 years experience 2.
Proven experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
3.
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction best practices.
4.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
5.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
6.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
7.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8.
OSHA certification and RLD is a plus.
