Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization on a wide range of legal matters
- Manage and oversee all legal activities, including contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies
- Represent the organization in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization's interests
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience as a General Counsel or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices
- Experience in legal administrative tasks, including managing contracts and litigation
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
