Concierge/Front Desk/Security Guard

Job Description We are looking for a professional security guard to greet all visitors and protect our premises, assets, homeowners and personnel.
You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.
The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
*Responsibilities* * Warmly greet all homeowners, residents and their guests * Vet visitors and contractors and ensure they follow all building rules * Protect company’s property, homeowners and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment * Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances * Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property * Apprehend trespassers and evict violators * Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences * Report in detail any suspicious incidents * Reach out to vendors for after hour issues if necessary * Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter * Handle incoming packages and distribute packages * Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates * Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment * Call 911 my need to perform first aid, use AED or CPR * Contact management, authorities and 911 as necessary * Wear provided uniform * Lift packages up to 25 lbs.
* May be required to go up flights of stairs in an emergency *Skills* * Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position * Trained security officer preferred * Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment * Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols * Surveillance skills and detail orientation * Integrity and professionalism * High school diploma * Clean background required * Any job as requested Job Type: Part-time Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.
