Summary
Beach Montessori is looking for strong and reliable assistant teachers for our ones, two's, and infant classrooms.
Duties include but are not limited to leading activities, supervising playtime, and employing a variety of educational techniques to teach children (storytelling, educational play).
Must be able to regularly communicate with parents to understand children's background and psyche in order to best help children.
A strong work ethic is a must- you must be reliable, as not just your fellow educators rely on you but also the children.
Early childhood education is the foundation for healthy well-rounded children, they are our future; love, kindness, and patience are just as important as teaching boundaries, and good behavior.
We use the Montessori Method to meet children's academic needs and Biblical principles to meet children's spiritual needs and encourage civic duties.
We use a multi-aged classroom structure.
Duties
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Must be a team player and able to collaborate with other educators.

Requirements
At least 18 years old of age
Dependable, reliable, flexible, loving, caring and overall a team player with a positive personality and is able to communicate well with children, parents, and the staff
At least 6 months to one year of teaching experience with toddlers, infants, or young school-age children in the classroom.
Nice To Haves
CPR Certification
Childcare experience (at least 6 months)
Virginia's 10 hour preservice training and the 3-hour update for the preservice training
Child Abuse Certification
Health Screening Certification
Benefits
Part time and full time positions available.
Pay rate depends on the amount of experience and shall be discussed during a scheduled interview.

Mellessa Becerra founded Beach Montessori Christian Academy with the objective to create a blend of Christian moral values and academic excellence.
We implement Montessori philosophy and early technology into our curriculum to provide an open classroom environment and a family atmosphere.
We are open to all children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, regardless of race, religion, or nationality who may benefit from our program.
