Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Ensure the well-being and physical safety of children at all times
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, mealtime and naptime
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing
Skills:
- Experience in childcare, daycare, nannying, or related field (2+ years' experience)
-Must have valid CPR and First Aid Certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities is a bonus
- Ability to provide first aid or respond to emergencies as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to adapt to different age groups, from toddlers to preschool-aged children
