STIHL is seeking a detail oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Branch Planning Team at STIHL’s corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach!
This person will assist with the daily operations and work processes by providing administrative support for branch functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates and implements administrative tasks, such as processing dealer rebate claims (i.
e.
Bid Award Assistance, Pro Fleet and National Accounts Landscaping).
Follows-up with dealers to assist with questions/issues/problem using the proper means of communication.
Process credit approvals for dealer orders and invoices for mailing.
Uses customer service, STIHL program knowledge and sales skills to optimize the opportunity of each customer contact.
Participates in special project activities and supports team by providing ad hoc information and reports, such as for claims pending or processed.
Actively maintains necessary and clear documentation to manage customer special program processes/issues and subsequent solutions.
Alerts management in Virginia Beach or at the branch level regarding issues or concerns that require escalation for complete resolution.
Participates in individual and team training and meetings to ensure knowledge is up to date.
Prepare files for internal audits.
Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.
Specifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of related experience (i.
e.
maintaining filing systems, scanning, faxing, answering phones and taking messages).
Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Basic computer and Microsoft software knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic SAP experience preferred.
