A dynamic growing company seeks an Accounting Manager.
This position will oversee all aspects of the accounting and finance function, including two staff for a local family owned company.
The company has commercial contracts and used Foundation construction ERP, and processes payroll inhouse for 250 employees.

FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops short and long term construction accounting / financial goals and objectives.
· Plans, develops, and implements effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures.
· Supervises the development and implementation of financial information and control systems.
· Serves as liaison between Company and external auditors and regulatory authorities.
· Oversees preparation of daily/monthly/annual, and other periodic financial statements and reports.
· Completes reporting and analysis of departmental operations.
· Prepares and maintains annual control of operational budgets.
· Conducts cost analysis, ratio and trend analysis, and other comparative examinations.
· Analyzes financial positions of subcontractors, minimizing potential for contract default.
· Track specific operational and financial data through coordination of accounting information systems.
· Prepares bi-weekly payrolls for 250.
· Processes and issues all accounts payable and subcontractor payments.
· Maintains all accounting files and records for construction projects.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
· Minimum of 3 - 5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
· Demonstrated record of success in construction accounting/finance.
· Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, & payroll knowledge.
