Significance is seeking Accountants (Level II) to provide onsite support for Naval Special Warfare Command at each of the following locations: Virginia Beach, VA; Oahu, HI; and San Diego, CA.
Required Skills:
• Active Secret clearance (interim OK)
• 5+ years of full-time experience within the last 10 years in accounting/management consulting with DOD entities (DON, USSOCOM, NSW).
This experience includes reviewing financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), (or similar ERP), and Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS), (or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• 5+ years’ experience in audit response and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
• Must have experience in these areas: Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR), support Command’s development and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as a result of the annual IPA audit Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), Business Process Improvement, Risk Management and Internal Controls Program (RMIC)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business from an accredited United States college or university
