How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success: The Senior Financial Planning Analyst partners with the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance and Vice President, Finance to oversee the financial planning & analysis efforts for the organization.
This individual is responsible for the coordination, preparation, and development of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast process.
Provides senior finance leadership with analysis of overall financial performance and key variance drivers.
Owns the development of managerial financial reporting and systems.
What you’ll do: Budget & Forecasting: Establishes key structure and processes related to our financial systems in order to facilitate annual budget and quarterly forecast.
Coordinates budget and forecast process including financial statement creation, establishing timelines and preparing presentations.
Utilizes SAP to consolidate financial data from multiple teams and create required financial schedules.
Partners with key cross-functional teams to drive process and systematic improvements.
Financial Management: Reports and analyzes consolidated financial performance including monthly variance analysis (budget vs actual) and year-over-year trends.
Identifies and summarizes key drivers of financial performance for presentation to senior finance leadership.
Highlights risks and opportunities and provides recommendations to relevant leadership team for further action.
Financial Reporting: Oversees the creation of robust internal management financials including month-end close package, franchise financial statements, weekly operating committee, quarterly business review presentations, and board of director presentations.
Develop, maintain, and optimize financial reporting processes and tools.
Business Partnering: Partners with several functional leaders to drive value creation consistent with business and corporate objectives.
Develops and reviews business unit financial performance and provides decision support to leadership team.
Financial Modeling & Decision Support: Performs ad hoc analysis and financial modeling when needed, particularly in support of key corporate strategic priorities.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements): Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Four (4) years of experience with financial planning and analysis Preferred Experience/ Skills/ Certifications: Two (2) years of experience with SAP ERP Financials These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities): Computer: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced MS Excel skills Analytical: Detailed analysis and problem-solving skills Communication/ presentation: Strong communication and presentation skills; experience presenting directly to senior management Data & system expertise: Ability to manipulate large data sets and leverage technology platforms Team management: Ability to work cross- functionally within the organization Why work at LifeNet Health?
